Adolescents have diverse health needs including those related to their physical development, nutrition, body image and emotional well-being. 'Tweens and teens are seen in the Adolescent Health Clinic for:

  • General physical development and concerns related to male and female puberty.
  • Assessment for eating disorders including anorexia and bulimia.
  • Nutrition and health.
  • Sports physicals.
  • Stress and anxiety.
  • Depression.
  • Developmental and transitional periods complicated by chronic illness, developmental or learning disorders.

Who will my teen see?

The clinic utilizes a multidisciplinary team approach to your teen's care that may include an adolescent medicine physician, certified pediatric nurse practitioner, registered nurse, dietitian or social worker with referrals to additional hospital specialists like dermatologists, endocrinologists, psychologists and gynecologists as needed.
