Down syndrome health care professional resources

The information we have available about health and medical issues for people with Down syndrome has grown significantly over the past few decades. An increase in clinics specializing in Down syndrome across the country, improved data collection systems and more research are all factors that have helped us move forward. Listed below are health care guidelines designed to be a tool for "catching" and preventing problems that often go undiagnosed. The flow sheet can be placed directly in the patient chart so health maintenance can be easily monitored.
