Location
Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Who will we see?
Patients are seen by a board-certified plastic surgeon. Our pediatric plastic surgeons are actively involved in research to develop better treatment for children with cleft, craniofacial and other plastic surgery disorders. We use state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and cutting-edge treatments including tissue expansion, facial reanimation surgery and distraction of the mandible and craniofacial skeleton. We are a national referral source for these treatments.

Our clinic also is staffed by a physician assistant and a pediatric nurse clinician.

Children's Hospital is a teaching hospital and many of our specialists train other doctors to care for kids. In addition to your child's main doctor, you may see the following:

  • Medical students who are training to be doctors.
  • Residents who are doctors training in plastic surgery.
  • Fellows have completed a residency and are taking advanced training in their specialty.

Your child's main doctor supervises the care they provide.
