The physicians and staff in the Variety Club Orthopedic Center at Children's Hospital have a wide range of experience and provide state-of-the art treatment for everyday, as well as for difficult or rare pediatric orthopedic problems.

We diagnose and treat the following:

Location
Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Our team
Our team of pediatric specialists includes board certified orthopedic surgeons, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pediatric nurses who specialize in orthopedics, orthopedic technicians who apply splints and casts, licensed occupational and physical therapists, and a group of experienced secretaries and assistants who enjoy working with pediatric orthopedic patients and their families.

Our team also includes a pediatric orthopedic nurse clinician who coordinates inpatient stays, discharge planning and follow-up clinic visits. The clinic nurses provide support and educational sessions for patients and their families undergoing surgery or involved therapies.

Our physicians are on the faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin. They teach fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students. In addition, our physicians also hold several educational symposiums for physicians each year and actively conduct research to further advance treatments available to patients.

Residents/fellows
Children's Hospital is a teaching hospital and many of our specialists train other doctors to care for kids. In addition to your child's main doctor, you may see the following:

  • Medical students who are training to be doctors.
  • Residents who are doctors specializing in pediatrics.
  • Fellows have completed a residency and are training in another specialty.

Your child's main doctor supervises the care they provide.
