Community Programs
As the only Kenosha hospital dedicated exclusively to the care of children, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin-Kenosha is a strong community partner. Along with other members of Children's Hospital and Health System, the hospital provides a wide variety of services in Kenosha.
We go beyond patient care, demonstrating our commitment to improving children's health though local initiatives, including:
- Free parent education classes on a wide range of timely issues, offered by Children's Health Education Center.
- Outreach education to family physicians, pediatricians and other health care providers in southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
- Child protection services through the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin-Kenosha Child Advocacy Center. The center cares for children suspected to be victims of abuse or neglect.
- Child welfare services (including counseling, adoption therapy, supervised visitation, permanency planning and parent education) are offered in Kenosha by Children's Service Society of Wisconsin.
- Child and adolescent behavioral health services offered in Kenosha by Rogers Memorial Hospital, developed in cooperation with Children's Hospital-Kenosha.
