Neurosurgery Program

The Neurosurgery Program offers a full range of surgical treatment for children, from newborns to adolescents, with neurological problems, including treatment for:

• Brain tumors.
• Spina bifida.
• Spasticity (muscle weakness, poor motor control or shaking).
• Seizures and epilepsy.
• Traumatic injuries to the brain, spinal cord and spine.

The Neurosurgery team also participates in prenatal consultations with expectant mothers for babies with these problems.
