Transport Team Programs

The Children's Hospital Transport Team staff provides consultation and training on a variety of topics. These topics include:

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. – Designed for the period following resuscitation of the newborn until care is transferred to the transport team.
  • Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Professionals (PEPP) – Teaching and implementing the Pediatric Assessment Triangle to any health professional responsible for the emergent care of children including EMT-basic, EMT- intermediate and EMT-paramedic.   • Safe Transport of Patients.
  • Lectures on other pediatric topics – Staff is available on request to present a variety of critical care pediatric topics, including burns, shock and respiratory emergencies.
  • Pediatric shock cards – Durable pocket reference cards provide stabilization guidelines of the pediatric patient.
