Surgery (414) 266-6550
Overview Pediatric Surgery is one of the broadest surgical specialties since it is defined by age group rather than organ system. Surgeons address the entire spectrum of problems in children of all ages, sizes and maturity levels - from the tiniest premature infants to adult-sized teenagers. Surgeons work closely with family members, primary care physicians, specially-trained pediatric anesthesiologists and a variety of pediatric medical, surgical, radiologic, pathology, nurse and technical specialists at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Pediatric surgeons also conduct prenatal consults and work side-by-side with neonatal intensive care units throughout the community.
