MILWAUKEE (5/5/2012) - Chad Hershner has joined Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Fox Valley Foundation as development director. In this role, Hershner is responsible for overseeing and managing the major gifts fundraising for Children's. Additionally, Hershner will play a leading role in working to secure funds for the Catalpa Health capital campaign, a partnership between Children's, Affinity Health System, and ThedaCare to provide mental and behavioral health services for youth and adolescents. Prior to joining Children's, Hershner served as vice president of advancement at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton where he was responsible for overseeing and managing the center's fundraising initiatives including its $1.4 million Annual Partner Campaign and $25 million Keystone Campaign. Hershner earned a masters degree from Goucher College in Baltimore, MD and a bachelor's degree from Penn State University. He resides in Appleton with his partner and two children.
