Children's Hospital and Health System has announced the appointment of Jim Miller as president and chief executive officer of Children's Hospital and Health System Foundation. Miller assumed responsibility for the foundation June 9.
Under the umbrella of its $150 million More Than You Can Imagine campaign, the organization raised more than $30 million last year. Contributions support expansion of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin facilities and medical programs in Milwaukee, Kenosha and the Fox Valley. Donations also support scientific investigations at Children's Research Institute, social service programs of Children's Service Society of Wisconsin, and outreach and educational programs of Children's Health Education Center.
Miller joins the health system from St. Louis Children's Hospital Foundation, where he served as executive vice president and chief executive officer. Under his leadership, the St. Louis foundation increased its assets from $67 million to $260 million in just five years. Miller also led St. Louis Children's Hospital recent $125 million campaign that exceeded $130 million.
