WAUWATOSA, Wis. (10/23/2007) - The Child Abuse Prevention Fund and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Family Services Fund will benefit when guests of the Sugar Plum Luncheon mingle and bid on auction items Tuesday, Nov. 13. The event, sponsored by United Liquid Waste Recycling, Inc., will be held at Westmoor Country Club, 400 S. Moorland Road in Brookfield, Wis.
Items to be auctioned include a Bartolotta's Kitchen Table for four, a David Yurman bracelet and more than 35 themed baskets. A silent auction will be held from 10 a.m. to noon. Luncheon will be served at 12:15 p.m.
WISN-12 Meteorologist Mark Baden will emcee. Co-chairs Patty Flowers, Cedarburg, and Cathy Brock, Mequon, hope that this year brings great success for raising awareness and educating the audience about child advocacy, as well as gaining financial support. "Cathy and I have one goal for the luncheon, and that is to raise more money than ever for the kids," said Flowers. Start your holiday shopping at the Sugar Plum Luncheon and benefit a great cause.
