  CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF WISCONSIN NAMES DIRECTOR OF NEW KIDS PROGRAM
 

MILWAUKEE (10/18/2007) - Brian M. Fidlin, PsyD, has been named program director for the NEW (Nutrition, Exercise and Weight Management) Kids™ Program at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. He is a pediatric psychologist at the hospital.

Fidlin received his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a master's degree from the University of Illinois-Springfield and a doctorate of psychology from Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology. Fidlin resides in Cedarburg, Wis.

The NEW Kids Program is geared toward a holistic treatment of pediatric overweight. It coordinates efforts of nurses, nurse practitioners, psychologists, dietitians, exercise physiologists, physical therapists and physicians. The NEW Kids Clinic focuses on children who are overweight and have medical problems related to overweight.
