MILWAUKEE (5/29/2007) - Thanks to the generosity of 96.5 FM WKLH listeners, the Dave & Carole Miracle Marathon raised more than 1.4 million dollars for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in just three days. Now in its tenth year, the Miracle Marathon is the largest annual fundraiser for Children's Hospital.
For the 60-hour event, WKLH's morning team of Dave Luczak and Carole Caine broadcasted live from Children's Hospital. At the hospital, Dave and Carole connected with the patients and families who shared their experiences at Children's Hospital.
At the conclusion of the event, Dave & Carole surpassed 2006's donation total, and is the most that has ever been raised for the Miracle Marathon. Donations can still be made at www.wklh.com.
