MILWAUKEE (5/15/2007) - Children's Hospital of Wisconsin has named Sue Widmann director of Ambulatory Services. Widmann will oversee the more than 70 medical and surgical subspecialty clinics at Children's Hospital, and take a leadership role in the ongoing planning of off-site clinic sites throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.
Widmann joined Children's Hospital and Health System in March 2004, as director of Patient Access. During her time in this role, she provided strategic leadership and administrative direction for continuous improvement, staff development and enhanced customer service. Prior to her work at Children's Hospital, Widmann held positions with Intermountain Health Care (Salt Lake City), Cincinnati Children's Hospital (Cincinnati) and Northwestern Memorial Hospital (Chicago). She holds a Master of Science degree in Health Policy and Management from Harvard University and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Mich.)
