MILWAUKEE (3/1/2007) - Jeff Stewart of Waukesha, Wis., has been named vice president for Children's Hospital and Health System Foundation. Stewart will be responsible for overseeing annual programs including direct mail, annual giving and special events as well as coordinating the foundation's information systems, financial tracking and reporting, and internal controls.
Stewart has been with the health system since 1989. His previous positions include senior financial analyst, financial services manager, director of managed care and director of finance. Prior to joining the health system, he was a senior accountant/auditor for Kerber, Eck & Braeckel.
Stewart holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and completed his CPA examination in 1987. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Stewart also is board treasurer for the Center for International Health, Inc. and Presbyterian Homes of Wisconsin. In addition, Stewart is former chairman of the board for the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin.
