MILWAUKEE (1/3/2007) - Debra Weiner, MBA, of Pewaukee, Wis., has been appointed director of the Hematology, Oncology, Blood and Marrow Transplant and Immunodeficiency programs at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. This new position was created to direct an integrated program of inpatient and outpatient services in these areas. Weiner will manage the growth and direction of these departments, including the planning and evaluation of delivery, management and operation of all services provided.
Weiner is a native of Wisconsin. She has been with Children's Hospital since 2004 as the HOT clinic manager where she was responsible for operations, financial performance and human resources. Before joining the Children's Hospital team, Weiner held management positions at other local health care organizations and has nearly 10 years of experience as a consultant in the health care field.
