Appointments are available with a physician's referral. Call Central Scheduling toll-free (877) 607-5280 or (414) 607-5280.

Pediatric neurologists treat the many neurological problems of childhood, including seizures, headaches, neuromuscular disorders, spasticity and other problems. In addition to the general Neurology Clinic, subspecialty clinics are held regularly to service children needing specialized care.

Location
Neuroscience Center, Children's Clinics Building, Suite 209. Children's Hospital is located just outside Milwaukee.

What happens at a clinic visit?

You may be asked to have an electroencephlogram (EEG) on the same day as or before your scheduled visit with the neurologist or nurse practitioner. Bring test results, such as EEG or MRIs, with you from other facilities if you have them. During the visit you will have a neurological exam, talk with the nurse and physician about test results and discuss treatment methods. You may be scheduled for additional testing at a later date.

Who will I see?

You may see a technologist to have some testing done before your visit with the neurologist or nurse practitioner. You will visit with a nurse, the neurologist and possibly a social worker.
