Why choose Children's Hospital
Our philosophy is not only to treat the illness or injury, but the whole child. Pediatric neurologists work closely with pediatric neurosurgeons, as well as specialists in child development, neuropsychology, genetics, rehabilitation, speech and audiology, and other areas to address the unique needs of each child.
- Comfort Zone - Many parents worry about their child being in pain when visiting the hospital. Talk to your child's health care team about your fears. The Comfort Zone is our pledge that we will make every effort to keep your child comfortable during his or her visit to Children's Hospital.
- Family-centered care - We know a child's health affects the whole family. We create a partnership with families, talking openly and often about their child's care and their personal beliefs. Our goal is to support families by building on their strengths.
- Specialized care for kids 0-18 - At Children's Hospital, all we do is care for kids. Our staff specializes in caring for children, and many have advanced degrees and special training to do just that. Our doctors are trained and certified in pediatrics and devote their entire practice to treating kids.
