In addition, physician's assistants see follow-up patients in clinic, assistant the neurosurgeons during surgery and are available to families who have questions.
Location The Neurosurgery Clinic meets in the Neuroscience Center on the second floor of the Children's Hospital clinics building.

What happens at a clinic visit? When you schedule your appointment, you may be asked to have an MRI or CT scan several days before your visit. If you have test results from other facilities, you may be asked to bring them to your appointment. The staff and neurosurgeon will talk with you about the test results and a plan of care. You may be scheduled for additional testing.
Who will I see? Clinic staff work as a team to meet the individual needs of pediatric patients and their families. You will see a physician's assistant (PA), a pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP), or a neurosurgery resident in addition to a pediatric neurosurgeon. Pediatric neurosurgeons also work closely with staff in the Neurology Clinic and Neurophysiology Laboratory.
