Heart Matters
|
 |
Heart Matters is a multidisciplinary forum for cardiac education.
Produced quarterly, Heart Matters began in January 1998 and originally was distributed internally to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin staff. It has been well received by many disciplines, including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, critical care, anesthesia, nursing, respiratory care, perfusion and general pediatrics and continues to be a tool for improving care for children with congenital heart disease.
As our number of heart cases increases, and technology and pharmacology continue to advance, we have found this type of education to be very important. In a continued effort to provide the best care - from diagnosis (including prenatal) through discharge and follow-up - we are expanding our print distribution list to include referring cardiologists and pediatricians, as well as offering archived issues online.
If you have ideas for articles or other feedback, call (414) 266-5430.
