KinderReady in Madison
KinderReady is a program for parents in the greater Madison area. The program helps parents learn how to promote their children's healthy development so they are ready for school. Services are available in English and Spanish and are free of charge.

KinderReady is a collaboration between the United Way of Dane County and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Community Services.
Home visitors meet with families in their homes to teach child development skills, enhance parent/child communication and strengthen the parent/child relationship.
Large Group Family Times is offered on a monthly basis, providing time to connect with other families in the KinderReady program. Parent/child activities are designed to improve understanding of child development and local resources, and are just plain fun.
The Ages and Stages Questionnaire is used to collect information that helps parents understand how their infant to 6-year-old is developing.
