Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, which manages seven child advocacy centers in Wisconsin applauds the co-chairs of Joint Finance Committee Rep. John Nygren (R-Marinette) and Senator Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) for their leadership and making child advocacy centers (CACs) a priority for this budget. Children's Hospital of Wisconsin was pleased to work in partnership with the co-chairs, Attorney General Brad Schimmel, Rep. Dale Kooyenga (R-Brookfield), Senator Luther Olsen (R-Ripon), Senator Van Wanggaard (R-Racine), Representatives Amy Loudenbeck (R-Clinton), and Rob Hutton (R-Brookfield).

Northwoods Home Visiting earns accreditation from Prevent Child Abuse America

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Community Services program, Northwoods Home Visiting, has been awarded accreditation by Prevent Child Abuse America (PCA America) as a provider of high quality home visiting services to families that want to improve their child’s health, nutrition and developmental outcomes. The accreditation process is based upon a stringent set of 12 critical elements grounded in more than 30 years of research.


Walmart and Sam’s Club associates gear up again to show the power of $1

Customers of Wisconsin's Walmart and Sam's Club stores can make a difference with a dollar during the annual Miracle Balloon fundraising campaign May 4 through June 14. At Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay stores, customers can donate at the register, with proceeds going to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. In 2014, this fundraiser, organized by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals provided $900,000 for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
