Barnes & Noble kicks off its seventh annual book drive

MILWAUKEE - Now through the first of the year, you can positively impact a child's life by purchasing a book at Barnes & Noble stores throughout Wisconsin during the retail bookseller's annual book drive. Books will be donated to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Community Services and given to children across the state. The goal to is collect thousands of books for Children's Wisconsin of Wisconsin Community Services to give to area children.
 
Barnes & Noble hopes to collect 75,500 books in the 2012 book drive. Last year, customers donated more than 58,000 books. Children who receive the books include foster and adopted children, children with special needs and children who receive counseling.
