"A Blizzard of Activity" expected to hit Children's Hospital Friday, Dec. 21

Dec. 19, 2012 - It's never fun being sick, especially for children this time of year. To help brighten the holidays, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, the state's largest provider of pediatric health care services, is hosting "A Blizzard of Activity," a winter-themed carnival. This event is for patients at Children's Hospital and their families.

Nov. 14, 2012 - Milwaukee's Adoption Day Celebration is a rare opportunity for media to view several adoptions and interview the families and experts. Hosted by the Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare, Integrated Family Services, St. Aemilian-Lakeside Milwaukee County Children's Court Judiciary and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Community Services. This event raises awareness about adoption and celebrates National Adoption Awareness Month.

Barnes & Noble kicks off its seventh annual book drive

Nov. 13, 2012 - Now through the first of the year, you can positively impact a child's life by purchasing a book at Barnes & Noble stores throughout Wisconsin during the retail bookseller's annual book drive. Books will be donated to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Community Services and given to children across the state. The goal to is collect thousands of books for Children's Wisconsin of Wisconsin Community Services to give to area children.
