MILWAUKEE – Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin recently announced that network strategy will be overseen by Bob Duncan, executive vice president. The change will put more focus on value based models of reimbursement, compared to fee for services.
Under the change, Duncan will be responsible for network strategy, including payer relations, network negotiations and expanded health care products offerings through Children’s Community Health Plan. He will continue to oversee payment innovation and population health services, in addition to the organization’s Community Services programs,
The Pulmonary Hypertension Program in the Herma Heart Center at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is only the fourth pediatric center in the country, and the only hospital in Wisconsin, to be accredited by the Pulmonary Hypertension Association with its highest designation as a Center of Comprehensive Care.
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin hosted a press conference on Tuesday, Jan. 26, to announce proposed legislation that would require a business of a certain size to provide up to six weeks of unpaid leave to workers who elect to be a bone marrow or organ donor.
